This Thanksgiving, I’m thankful for is my family. I am also thankful for being healthy. Beyond that, I am thankful for having a roof over my head. I am also thankful to have a lot of different things to do, like make pumpkin pie. I am also thankful for my whole family being alive and healthy. I am thankful for my mom, my brothers, and all my sisters. I am thankful for my grandma. My entire family is caring and thoughtful. If I was ever in trouble, my family would have my back. If my family was ever in trouble, I would help them with their situation. That is what I am thankful for this Thanksgiving.

Summary: In this chapter there is a boy who is being used as a slave to clean the house. The boy is also being starved and beaten as well. Then the mother hits the boy with a baseball bat. In the face. Then he goes to school and the nurse sees his face and calls a few teachers in so that they can see the boys face. Also she finds out that the mother has also stabbed in the stamach with a pen. Then they report it to police. So that they can put him in a new home so that he isn’t abused and starvedK.
What I felt about what my teachers told my mom at open school night was that they told the truth. I should start acting much better. I need to stop with the bad language. If I don’t stop with the profanity I will never get a job because then they will think that I will talk to my coworker like that. Then if I was to speak like that they will think that I will also talk to the customers like that. Then if I speck to the customers like that thy will take there business elsewhere.
How did your mom feel?
My mom was felt happy. Because most of the teachers gave her a good report. They said that I completed all my work and I was respectfull to them. Also that I stayed in there clss. But she was not happy that ms moraless told her that I was felling her class because I was always in dance but the thing was is that she signed the papper so I could go to dance. So there for she has no right to fell me.
What did she say to you when you got home?
When we got home she told me when we got home that she was pround that I was passing my classes but she was also mad that I was cursing at teachers. She was also mad that I was roming the halls with shaquell. She told me that she wants me to go to class and to stop worrying about shaquell. Because if she get one call home I am not getting nothing for my birthday.
